Privacy statement

If you request information on the Strategy page, we receive your first name, last name and email address, and your telephone number if you enter it. We use these details solely to respond to your request and to send you the information about the Prism Investment Fund that you ask for.

We process these details at your request, with a view to a possible participation in the fund (Article 6(1)(b) GDPR), and on the basis of our legitimate interest in answering questions about the fund (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR). You are not obliged to use the form, but without a name and email address we cannot respond to your request. You can also email us directly.

The form is sent through Web3Forms, a service that forwards your request to our mailbox as an email. Web3Forms also receives your IP address, to protect against spam. Web3Forms is provided from India, a country outside the European Economic Area for which there is no adequacy decision; the transfer is based on the European Commission’s standard contractual clauses. Our email is provided by STRATO GmbH in Berlin, which stores the messages in data centres in Germany.

We keep your request for as long as is needed to handle your question and stay in touch with you, and no longer than two years after our last contact. If you become a participant in the fund, the retention periods of the fund documentation and the law apply. We delete the copy of your request kept by Web3Forms within thirty days.

We do not sell your details and do not pass them on to others, unless the law requires us to. No automated decision-making or profiling takes place.

This website sets no cookies, uses no analytics or advertising services, and loads nothing from other parties: everything the website needs comes from our own domain.

To show you the website, the server of our hosting provider, STRATO GmbH in Berlin, processes technical data such as your IP address, the time of your visit and the page requested, on our behalf; that server is in Germany. These server logs serve only the security and proper functioning of the website (legitimate interest, Article 6(1)(f) GDPR) and are deleted after a short time.

On the home page a short intro plays only at the start of a visit. To remember this, the website sets a single flag in your browser’s session storage (sessionStorage). The flag contains no personal data, is never sent to us, and disappears as soon as you close the tab.

You have the right to access your personal data, to have it corrected or erased, to have its processing restricted, to object to processing based on our legitimate interest, and to data portability. Send your request to buren [at] prisminvestment.nl; we respond within one month.

If you are not satisfied with the way we handle your data, you can lodge a complaint with the Dutch Data Protection Authority, the Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens (autoriteitpersoonsgegevens.nl).

We may update this statement, for instance when the website changes. The date at the top of this page shows which version you are reading.
